FIFA 18 is a perfect game for soccer fans, otherwise known in the world as football. Create your own soccer club and make money by trading players and winning championships.
You can download FIFA 18 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
This game looks cool since the opening menu. It has HD headshots of TOP world soccer players, nice colors and fonts of the menu items. The menu also has more than enough items and good logic about what you can do here.
The game itself also looks nice and, if you watch from afar, it looks almost like a real TV match. Only dead crossed eyes of game characters and the ball passing through somebody's head tell you that it’s still a game.
It’s not just a soccer game it’s a business simulator, you have to make money here off your soccer clubs. You have to make deals on players as well and find the best offer. The online mode of the game gives you a lot of options in that, and you can see how much money other people make here.
This edition of FIFA games has better pass system, but now the passes became even too easy. Moreover, you don’t feel the difference if it’s a high echelon player or some unknown player. The defense system has become, as opposed to the attack, more difficult. It doesn’t also matter if you have a TOP player or a bronze player, it’ll be super tough to get the ball from the opponents.
In regards to the actual game's controls, you have to be fast in order to win and follow carefully where the ball goes. It's easy to control the game on the attack but so difficult to defend. And because of some textures glitches the ball can get through other players which makes a lot of games unfair and difficult to win, just like real life soccer.
Replay Value: 4.5
As you can tell from this FIFA 18 review, it’s a pretty realistic game, and you’ll definitely enjoy looking at it. Not just a game for some people, it's their world so you need to play it online where you can find limitless game options and possibilities. And if you're a soccer fan, be ready to give it a lot of your time, we hope you don't have something else important to do in your life.
The Bottom Line
The game is worth giving it a go. Nice looking Ronaldo and Messi, or other soccer players you like, which now you can control. Make them work for you and play in the championships. You can also see how they dance when they win, and you get money. And if you download FIFA 18, you won't be lonely. The game has such a vast community where you can find not only people to play with but your friends and maybe soulmates.
FIFA 18 is definitely the best game out of FIFA series and one of the best games on the soccer simulators market.
Pros : Looks beautiful and has smooth graphics;
Great game attack strategies;
Various gameplay (matches business sim).
Cons : Poor defense game mechanism;
Some serious flaws in the performance (the ball going through different body parts of the players);
Just a little timeconsuming;)
