It’s not your typical graphics and animation. It has an extra 3D effect as you can see in some early ‘00s cartoons. There are beautiful sceneries and special effects like majestic smoke with colorful stripes in it or a beautiful skylight. It has beautiful cinematic camera effects, and there are so many scenes, items, weapons, armors, textures, puzzles, monsters, different effects, and animation, that it’s like watching a good Japanese animated movie.
It’s the 19th episode of the legendary game but don’t worry, you don’t have to play previous parts to understand the gameplay or the storyline. The story is pretty typical for any legend, your character (Link) wakes up without memories and have to save your kingdom (Hyrule) and a beautiful princess (Zelda). The genre is a mix of action and adventure meaning that you can walk around the open world map, gather resources, cook food and collect valuable items. Your character has stamina and abilities which are given at the beginning of the game, but there are no levels here. The stamina and health you can upgrade and enhance for special points that you get for completing puzzles in multiple Shrines spread around this giant map.
The controls depend on the platform you’re playing. In this particular The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Master Edition review we’ll discuss controls for Nintendo Switch. The mechanics of it are well thought and the ability of each button change with the items you use or if you’re riding a horse or gliding so be sure to look carefully at the screen because it says there which button you need to push. The controls, in general, are very intuitive.

There are a lot of things you can do in this game. The main task of saving the world and fight the girl is fulfilling enough, but there are TONS of additional tasks on the side which makes this game quite a time-consumer. And the game doesn’t lead you to the task completion by the hand, hence, it’s more interesting to go for extra tasks.
The Bottom Line
We highly recommend you to download The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Master Edition even if you’re not a fan of the series. The game is simply great. You might not like it only if you’re against this kind of cartoon-ish animation, but at the same time, it’s so beautiful and unique. It’s very fulfilling and satisfying game not only in the game but in the visual aspect as well.
If you’re a fan of Zelda’s series, you’ll love this episode of the game and its Master Edition which will get you to a new level of the gaming experience.
Pros : Huge open world map which you can explore every inch of it;
Great logical physics of the game where different surfaces show appropriate abilities (wood is soft, and the rock is hard);
Amazing gameplay, storyline, additional tasks and puzzles.
Cons : Timeconsuming;
Not your typical graphics.
